TC-HICTD WELCOMES A NEW SERVICE (CAX) DIRECT TO AUSTRALIA OF ZIM SHIPPING LINES

On August 21, 2021, Tan Cang Hai Phong International Container Terminal (TC-HICT) successfully welcomed the ship AS CAROLINA operated by ZIM shipping line, directly connecting Australia with Vietnam. This service is expected to meet the increasing demand for container transportation in Southeast Asia.

On August 21, 2021, Tan Cang Hai Phong International Container Terminal (TC-HICT) successfully welcomed the ship AS CAROLINA operated by ZIM shipping line, directly connecting Australia with Vietnam. This service is expected to meet the increasing demand for container transportation in Southeast Asia.

ZIM's AS CAROLINA vessel with a tonnage of 39,156 DWT with a carrying capacity of 2,800 TEUs, with a length of 222m operating on the China Australia Express (CAX) service route will alternately dock at TC-HICT Port every Tuesday. The CAX service route directly connects Vietnam with Australia with a stable and regular weekly schedule: Xiamen - Ningbo - Shanghai - Sydney - Melbourne - Brisbane - Haiphong - Xiamen. ZIM says a number of new, advanced refrigeration units equipped with the ZIMonitor system for continuous monitoring and damage prevention will be available to customers on this new service.
